The Perka service

Perka is based at 1 Kingfisher Drive, Randfontein, Gauteng, 1755, South Africa and helps visitors explore events, find vendors, view programmes and offers, and save makers. Organisers manage event content and vendor publication. Perka's operating legal person must be confirmed before these draft terms become an agreement.

Creating a Perka account or registering in the guide is not a ticket purchase or a guarantee of admission. Check admission requirements, accessibility, opening hours, and attendance conditions with the event organiser.

Accounts and acceptable use

Use an email or Google account you control and keep sign-in codes and passwords private. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's terms. Provide accurate information and use only the workspaces assigned to you. Sign out on shared devices and report suspected misuse.

Do not impersonate others, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, scrape personal information, send unlawful marketing, or upload unlawful or infringing content. Business users must have authority to act for their organisation or vendor.

Account eligibility and any supported process for children's information remain launch decisions. This draft does not establish a parental-authorisation workflow.

Event information and availability

Event organisers and vendors supply event details, listings, prices, programmes, and promotions. These may change. Confirm important details with the organiser or vendor, especially before travelling or purchasing.

Perka needs an internet connection for sign-in, account changes and live updates. A downloaded public guide supports local browsing for up to 24 hours; some artwork and optional features may still need a connection. Availability may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, and provider interruptions.

Purchases, offers, and event changes

The current visitor app does not take payments, sell tickets, or record offer redemptions. Purchases and offer fulfilment take place directly with the vendor. Check the vendor's offer conditions, validity dates, stock, and any stall code before buying.

Contact the vendor about goods, fulfilment, returns, or purchase disputes, and the organiser about admission, cancellation, or event changes. Responsibility for any Perka service issue remains with the party responsible under applicable law. Nothing here removes statutory consumer rights.

Content and intellectual property

Perka and its licensors retain rights in the service and its materials. You may use the guide for its intended purpose. Do not copy or reuse other people's images, branding, or listings without permission or another lawful basis.

Business content permissions and publication responsibilities are addressed in the organiser and vendor draft terms. Those drafts require completion and acceptance separately.

Restrictions, closure, and responsibility

The proposed terms allow proportionate restriction or suspension for misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements, with explanation and a review contact where reasonably possible. Mandatory legal duties and rights of recourse continue to apply.

You may remove an event registration from the privacy controls. This does not close your entire account. The service description is not a guarantee that event information is error-free. Any final liability provisions must preserve rights and liabilities that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.

Questions, disputes, and changes

For Perka complaints or legal enquiries, email legal@joinperka.com with the relevant event and a description. Do not include sign-in credentials. South African law is proposed for the final agreement, subject to mandatory protections and available statutory complaint or court processes.

These are draft terms with no effective date yet. Visitors accept them when joining an event, and Perka records the account, terms version and time. Final material changes will need appropriate notice and fresh acceptance where required.
